The Fool Meets The Empress 👸🏽

So The Fool met an intriguing man named The Magician. He then goes off and learns about the power of hidden truths from his "Spiritual" mother- The High Priestess. Now we will continue our journey with The Fool to meet his "archetypal" mother.

He finds Her in a field surrounded by the wilderness, a symbol of her connection to Mother Nature. The Empress is a full-figured woman with her hair pulled up high and a billowing maternity gown. In the tree above her head, pomegranates are growing. This fruit is a symbol of the cycle of birth, death and rebirth. It represents her connection to the spiritual realm. The shield she holds portrays a bird and symbolizes love, fertility, beauty and grace – the exact essence of the Empress.

In her hand is a scepter, a sign of power. On top of it is the world and a symbol of her dominion over the earthly plane.

She is love, abundance and fertility. She is the Goddess of love. She embodies all facets of it, and is seen as the mother in the Major Arcana- hence the maternity gown.

She's here to "birth" The Fool with the intention of sending him out into the world.

Her message to The Fool is that love and abundance flows effortlessly to him, so let it come.

Now that we've met the Mother, she sends The Fool on his way to meet the Father. She says he has some wisdom he will need as he grows into a man.

His journey so far has been a fantastical experience, bringing love into his life and people who help steer him in the right direction while giving him the guidance he needs. #Witchbombwillow
